White Materials:  100% cotton yarn, one 5mm black glass bead (optional) and size 7 knitting needles Special Instructions: Before casting on, string one small black glass bead onto your yarn.  This is optional, but it is for the "eye",,,,,the glass beads I used are approximately 5 mm. Cast on 36 stitches 1-4:  Knit across 5:  k3, p30, k3 6:  and all even rows, knit across 7-16: repeat 5&6 17:  k3, p12, k2, p4, k2, p10, k3 19:  k3, p12, k2, p4, k2, p10, k3 21:  k3, p12, k2, p4, k3, p9, k3 23:  k3, p11, (k1, bobble) 5 times, p9, k3 25:  k3, p11, (bobble, k1) 5 times, bobble, p8, k3 27:  k3, p10, (bobble, k1) 6 times, p8, k3 29:  k3, p10, (k1, bobble) 6 times, p8, k3 31:  k3, p10, (bobble, k1) 6 times, p8, k3 33:  k3, p9, k1, (k1, bobble) 6 times, k2, p6, k3 35:  k3, p8, k1, (k1, bobble) 6 times, k1, p8, k3 37:  k3, p6, k5, (bobble, k1) 5 times, p9, k3 39:  k3, p6, k7, p17, k3 41:  k3, p6, k3, bead, k3, p17, k3                 OR, if you are not using the bead for the eye, this row will be: 41:  k3, p6, k7, p17, k3 43:   k3, p8, k3, p19, k3 45-56:  repeat 5&6 57-59:  knit across Bind off

I hope these instructions aren't too confusing.  When there are directions in parentheses ()...and a number afterwards, such as "6 times" - you will do the complete instructions inside the parentheses, a total of 6 times. For example, row 27 will be worked as follows: k3, p10, (<work bobble>, k1, <work bobble>, k1, <work bobble> k1, <work bobble>, k1, <work bobble>, k1, <work bobble>, k1), p8, k3

Bobble directions: (k1, p1, k1, p1, k1) into same stitch to make 5 stitches from one.  Then pass 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th stitches, one at a time, over the first stitch.
